Chasing the sunset – road to Rio part 7
After 7 days and 3928 km I’m In world capital of trams and steps – in Lisbon! But I would never do that without help of some people.
First Vitor (someday Victor but that was too long so he cut it 🙂 he love BBC comedy) and Maria (she’s making tourist transfers form hotels to airports). Suddenly someone from her company fucked up something and need to put me in the middle of highway. And than came Susana. She stoped for hitchhiker second time in life in place where nobody could do it. She took me to her beautifull house on coutryside, and with aunt and grandmother fed me, warm up with coffe and other specifics (and really I don’t want to left this place. I felt like in my grandmothers home) and left me in Sao Marcos de Serra! Thanks once again for everything!
Sao Marcos is a hole in a middle of nothing – steep streets, two shops and… that’s everything! I had a lot of time but I decided to try catch something. Sunset, cars are passing by with 100km/h and try to catch something. And than Natallia has stopped. We started talk in Portuguese and Spanish but finish in polish because Natallia was born in Belarus! She putted me in front of gate of park near airport where I decided to spend that night. And for the end she gave a lot of oranges and peaches 🙂 thanks a lot!
Because it’s a capital I decided to wash my feets in sprinklers of grass, shave and change my t-shirt for new (which I have less and less. For few next days I want to explore Lisbon and prepare for… Rio!
